Dr. Devgan wins the Hippocrates Trophy

On August 6, 2013, Dr. Devgan was awarded the Hippocrates Trophy from HealthTap, an online interactive health network, for her valuable contributions to educating the public about plastic and reconstructive surgery. The award is named for Hippocrates, an ancient Greek physician who is considered the "father of western medicine" for his invaluable contributions to patient care and medical ethics. The Hippocratic Oath, a promise all physicians make to practice medicine honestly and carefully, is named after him.
