The Daily Front Row include Vitamin C+B+E Ferulic Serum in the Top 8 Vitamin C Serums to incorporate into your skincare routine

The Daily Front Row, your online destination for all things fashion and beauty, listed Dr. Devgan’s Vitamin C+B+E Ferulic Serum as one of the top serums to add to your skincare routine. Dr. Devgan is the founder of Dr. Lara Devgan Scientific Beauty, which is a clean, luxury medical-grade skincare collection.

According to Dr. Devgan, “Vitamin C is one of the most important and yet most frequently overlooked parts of an ideal skin care regimen.” This power-packed ingredient is crucial and does wonders for the skin. Further, “vitamin C works mechanistically as a powerful antioxidant that scavenges free radical damage caused by UVA and UVB radiation and blue light from our electronics.” That being said, since we are all working from home and on our computers and phones every minute, a Vitamin C serum would be great to add to your routine. Not only does it help with damage caused by UVA, UVB, and blue light radiation, but it also works to “fade hyperpigmentation, melasma, brown spots, improves the texture of the skin, and reduces the visibility of fine lines.”

Dr. Devgan’s Vitamin C+B+E Ferulic Serum contains  high concentrations of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B derivatives, Ferulic Acid, and Acetyl Octapeptide. All of these ingredients combined work together to give you a fantastic result. We recommend that you apply the serum at night, after you’ve washed your face and before applying any retinol or moisturizers. If you have any questions about skincare or would like to know if this product is right for you, feel free to email Beauty@LaraDevganMD.com. To read the article, click here.

Refinery29 consults with Dr. Devgan on how COVID-19 Will Change the Cosmetic Dermatology & Plastic Surgery world

The world as we know it has changed drastically since the spread of COVID-19. School is now online, employees are working from home, and restaurants and stores are offering curbside pick up to customers. What else is different? The world of cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery. Refinery29 reporter, Lexy Lebsack, chats with Dr. Devgan, New York City-based, board-certified plastic surgeon, about how COVID-19 will affect cosmetic surgery.

According to Dr. Devgan, “Coronavirus has affected every aspect of [her] practice and the entire fabric of our community.” In order to survive, the cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery world is learning to quickly adapt to these changes in order to cater to everyone’s needs. Dr. Devgan predicts that a more natural look will be popular. Since we are spending more time at home, everyone is “becoming acquainted with what we actually look like”, so so-long are the days of overfilled lips and cheeks. Dr. Devgan explains how she believes that patients will be focusing more on balance over size for features like lips, breasts, and buttocks. Additionally, Dr. Devgan believes that she will see more people asking for minimally-invasive injectables rather than complex surgeries. Elective surgeries will be able to resume once the virus is controlled, however even so, it may be awhile until people feel comfortable with surgical protocols.

While these complications may shift trends, Dr. Devgan mentions how demand will never fully fade. We will still have patients who desire both injectables and surgery, and when the time is right, Dr. Devgan will be able to do so. We are currently holding a waitlist for patients, both new and existing, who with to be contacted once we officially reopen. If you would like to be added, please email Office@LaraDevganMD.com with your full name and phone number. For the time being, Dr. Devgan is offering virtual consultations! If you are interested in setting one up, please contact Office@LaraDevganMD.com. If you would like to read the full article, click here.

ELLE Features Dr. Devgan in the latest spread about post-COVID beauty

With so much uncertainty in the world right now, Elle investigates how the world of beauty will change. Being that Dr. Devgan is a globally recognized board-certified plastic surgeon in New York City, Elle chats with her in order to get a better understanding of what she believes will be the future of beauty. Dr. Devgan is the creator of Dr. Devgan Scientific Beauty, so her view on this situation involves both at-home remedies and in-office treatments.

Dr. Devgan predicts “that the return to medical-grade skin care will be the single biggest change in the aesthetics industry following COVID-19 home quarantine.” This is her conclusion because since we are all spending most of out days, if not all, at home with nothing to prove, people want and need products that work so that they can utilize this time best. If you are not familiar with Dr. Devgan Scientific Beauty, it is a medical-grade, clean line of skincare products that address all skincare concerns. Whether you have oily skin, dry skin, uneven textures and skin tones, or just want to prevent aging, there is something for everyone. As for in-office treatments, Dr. Devgan believes “ minimally invasive procedures will continue to grow in popularity’ because patients “will focus on more durable procedures, such as fillers, rather than more fleeting ones like toxins.”

In regards to marketing and advertising, something that Dr. Devgan believes is that “the optics, the influencers, the expensive ad campaigns, and the colour schemes of branding all of a sudden [will] matter much less.” This time during quarantine, people have been able to reflect on what “real” really means, and people want transparency. Dr Devgan Scientific Beauty prides itself on being real with our customers and by sharing real customer photos and reviews. If you are interesting in reading more about each product, click here. Vogue names Platinum Lip Plump one of the best Lip Balms to Soothe Chapped, Dry Lips

Dr. Devgan’s Platinum Lip Plump is a best-seller, has been featured across every fashion and beauty magazine, and is worn by many noote-worthy celebrities. It comes to no surprise that the Platinum Lip Plump had Vogue’s list of the  top 15 lip treatments to use for smooth lips. Not only does it help chapped lips, but it will plump them too!

Even though winter is over, chapped, dry lips can still arise, especially while we are spending more time inside. Not only does the Platinum Lip Plump have moisturizing properties, but it will also keep your lips firm and plump. Immediately  after applying, you will experience a minor tingle and then 1-2 minutes later your lips will increase about 1 to 2 millimeters in size. What’s unique about this lip plump is that your lips will stay plump for up to two hours following the application. What makes this lip plumper different from the others is that its plumping agent is a natural vitamin called niacin, so the typical “burning sensation” that is associated with a lip plump does not apply here! The niacin provides a gentle tingle and does not irritate or burn.

Since summer is around the corner, we are currently offering a limited edition SPF 30 Platinum Lip Plump! This product has all the same amazing properties as the Platinum Lip Plump, except it has SPF 30 inside to protect your lips from UVA and UVB. The SPF 30 Platinum Lip Plump will be your summertime essential and is expected to sell out, so order yours soon! You can place an order here. To read the Vogue article, click here
