The non-surgical rhinoplasty uses a filler in order to fill in areas of the nose to create a certain look and shape, or to make a correction of the physical appearance of the bone structure of the nose.
Many patients come in to see what their desired nose shape would look like before committing to a surgical rhinoplasty. Other patients come in each year or every other year to make slight changes to the nose shape without going through any invasive procedures to achieve their goals.
Many patients ask if a non-surgical rhinoplasty makes the nose look wide or bulbous from the front view. Provided that the procedure is performed with a delicate hand and an artistic eye, the nose does not look wide or bulbous from a front view. Dr. Devgan uses micro droplet injections, which allows her to use the minimum amount of filler for visibly noticeable results. This way, patients can achieve their desired look without having a significant amount of volume added to their nose. Because of this, the nose appears to remain the same size, as the amount of filler in each dispersed area is quite minimal.
A non-surgical rhinoplasty takes a few minutes, lasts 1-2 years, and has no associated time off from work or social functions. It uses fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, and others for a non-operative nose correction. The type of filler depends on the patient's anatomic characteristics and desired results.
