Harper’s Bazaar features Dr. Devgan in article highlighting Cheek Fillers

Dr. Devgan is featured in Harper’s Bazaar as a medical expert in explaining everything that everyone needs to know about injections for attaining sculpted cheekbones. The first and most important piece of knowledge is going to a board-certified plastic surgeon, like Dr. Devgan. These doctors are described as having an “artistic eye and the skill of Michelangelo,” therefore you will be in good hands.

Although a cheekbone augmentation is not as popular as lip injections or tummy tucks, Dr. Devgan describes it as a just-as-important procedure since “cheekbones are thought to represent 70% of facial beauty” because “they give a really pleasing architecture to the face.” For anyone who is not familiar with cheekbone injections, they are crucial in order to create better facial symmetry and to ensure an elevated mid face. Whenever Dr. Devgan performs this procedure on one of her patients, she takes careful measurements of the face to determine how much filler to use, numbs the patient for about five minutes and then “the injection itself takes five to ten minutes.” It is quite a spectacular procedure given the prep time and the quick results.

Dr. Devgan highly recommends this treatment to anyone who is looking to lift and define the cheeks with minimal downtime. She also notes how the cheekbone augmentation is the perfect procedure for anyone who desires a more natural yet defined look. Instead of piling on the make up every morning, a cheekbone augmentation will give you that same beautiful look. Dr. Devgan is featured in Family Circle to clarify readers on common injectable misconceptions

Dr. Devgan is featured in Family Circle magazine as an expert in the medical field and shares her knowledge on injectables. Today we see more and more people wanting to age gracefully, however they are not educated on the topic. Family Circle consults Dr. Devgan to help clarify this topic and answers questions along the lines of what injectables do, whether or not they are painful, and what kind of results to expect.

For anyone who is wondering, Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau are all examples of neuromodulators and are all made from purified, diluted botulinum toxin type A. These injectable medications work to diminish signs of aging, like wrinkles and fine lines. Dr. Devgan uses them “to treat lines that form due to repeated muscle movement” such as “horizontal lines on the forehead, crow’s feet, and the vertical frown lines between the eyebrows.” For those who have never had any injectables done before, let it be known that the treatment itself only takes about 10 minutes and is “no more painful than having your eyebrows tweezed,” explains Dr. Devgan.

A common misconception about neurotoxins is that your muscles completely paralyze you and will result in no expression. Dr. Devgan clarifies this misunderstanding by explaining how “the best and most beautiful results are somewhere in between, where you have natural movement without visible furrows.” If you are new to injectables, the best option is to seek a consultation, that way one can get any and all questions answered and determine which areas botox would be most beneficial. Everyone has his or her own unique anatomy and something like injectables requires expertise in order to achieve optimal results. PR Newswire calls on Dr. Devgan, Chief Medical Editor of RealSelf, to explain why people travel for aesthetic procedures

PR Newswire released a study on people who search for the right aesthetic providers online and consult Dr. Devgan as a medical expert to clarify important details. RealSelf, the leading online resource to research aesthetic procedures and connect with doctors, has found that nearly half (45%) of its users looks for a provider outside of their home state. Being that Dr. Devgan is the Chief Medical Editor of RealSelf, her knowledge on the topic helps explain why this is so.

Dr. Devgan begins by explaining how RealSelf allows patients to “have greater access to information” and enables people to “research doctors in every country.” This is useful because states like New York, California, and Florida are the most popular amongst the United States for people to travel to for aesthetic procedures. Since not everyone can live in one of these three states, Dr. Devgan and RealSelf work together to make people feel “less inhibited by travel” and “have more freedom to make the decision that’s best for them.”

Dr. Devgan’s practice has grown tremendously over the past years and will continue to grow. Her patients travel from all around the world and span six of the seven continents. It is her work with RealSelf that gives people the comfort and information they need to be confident they are using the right doctor for their procedure.
